THANKSGIVING :

Thanksgiving day collection change :  That Thursday's (Nov. 24th)  collection will be done on Wednesday the day before (Nov. 23rd).    NO OTHER CHANGES THAT WEEK. Friday's collection will be done that Friday.

Christmas and New Years :

Christmas 2011 and New Years 2012 : There will be no schedule changes this season as both those holidays fall on a Sunday.

FOR SAFETY'S SAKE :
We Reserve the right to cancel a collection day or skip your driveway due to bad weather or unsafe conditions .                                                                      
Please make sure your driveway is cleared and sanded .  Please make sure storage bins are shoveled clear so we can open the doors.

If your driveway is bad please put your garbage cans out by the road .  

Previous schedule changes or announcements :

HURRICANE IRENE : So far we will be working Monday - We will be checking road conditions late sunday afternoon. check back later for any changes.   If you keep your refuse in the garage and you lost power please put your refuse outside the garage door . If you have any low wires or trees blocking your driveway Please put your refuse out by the road at the end of your driveway.

THURSDAY (Feb. 3, 2011) CUSTOMERS - We are Working today.  HOWEVER due to SEVERE ICE conditions and for our employees SAFETY your driveway  (or private rd.)  must be clear or SANDED at the regular collection time . If your Refuse was not collected your driveway was not safe or not plowed wide enough for our trucks (we need a wider turn radius than a car). For your next collection (Mon.)please put refuse at the end of your driveway near road.   NOTE that our employees determine if your driveway is safe enough to access with our trucks. Garbage trucks are not four wheel drive and neither are our men. For the amount we charge it is not worth the risk if your driveway is bad. And we do not drive around in circles all day burning fuel and polluting the air waiting for driveways to be plowed or sanded. YOU can put the refuse out by the road for now.

Snow Storm Feb 1,2011 TUESDAY CUSTOMERS - We did our Tuesday (Feb 1) routes.  If your Refuse was not collected your driveway was not safe or not plowed wide enough for our truck (we need a wider turn radius than a car). For your next collection (Fri)please put refuse at the end of your driveway near road. 

Changes due to the Snowstorm on Weds/Thurs Jan. 26-27 , 2011 2am 1/27/11 Update.  Due to the latest snow storm we are canceling Thursdays collection. THURSDAYS COLLECTION will be done on Friday the 28th  and FRIDAYS collection will be done on Saturday the 29th. 

Due to the snowstorm on FRIDAY Jan. 21 , 2011 all collections after 6am or later will be done on SATURDAY the 22nd.  We stopped at 6am Fri due to conditions. Please have your Refuse ready  earlier  for Sat.'s Collection.
